Students transfer to ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ from many different places for many different reasons. Transfer students make up 20 percent of the incoming class each year, starting in either the spring or fall semester.

You are considered a transfer student if you:
Have graduated from high school or earned an equivalent degree
Have completed any number of college credits following your high school graduation
Note: If you are currently enrolled in high school and are completing Dual Enrollment credits, you will still apply as a First Year Student.

Will My Credits Transfer?
Yes! Most college-level academic credits transfer, including IGETC and CSU Breadth. Useful Resources for Prospective Transfer Students
Affording College
Transfer scholarships are awarded to students with a distinguished high school or college academic profile. More than 95 percent of first-year and transfer students receive an academic and/or talent-based scholarship. A combination of GPA and the overall quality of the application determine the scholarship amount. Students eligible for academic scholarships are notified within their offer of admission.
Steps to Apply

1.
Apply Online
²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ does not require transfers to have completed a specified number of units/credits before applying. ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ utilizes both our personalized application and the Common App. There is no preference and both are free of charge.
2.
Send Transcripts
Request your official college transcripts be sent to ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ directly from school officials. If you have completed less than 24 semester college units (or 36 quarter units), we will also require your official high school transcript.
3.
Send Reference Letters
²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ requires one academic reference from a teacher in a major subject (i.e. English, Science, History, Math, etc.). In addition, an optional pastoral/character reference may be submitted. The reference forms may be accessed within either application.
4.
Interview (Optional)
Interviews are optional for applicants. We want to know you personally.
Transfer Application Deadlines
Applying to ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ is easy! If you've already completed one semester or more of college full-time, just submit a transfer application, your academic records, and one academic recommendation. ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ accepts transfer students in both the fall and spring semester. Deadlines are rolling as space allows after these priority dates.
