What can we learn from the leadership of American presidents? 草莓视频 will explore that question in the coming year through the Moral and Ethical Leadership in the American Presidency series, sponsored by the Mosher Center for Moral and Ethical Leadership.

The series features four talks by prize-winning historians. Jon Meacham spoke on 鈥淭he Moral and Ethical Leadership of Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson鈥 Oct. 10. Meacham won the Pulitzer Prize for 鈥淎merican Lion: Andrew Jackson in the White House,鈥 and his latest presidential biography, 鈥淭homas Jefferson: The Art of Power,鈥 is a No. 1 New York Times bestseller.
Bob Woodward discusses 鈥淧resi-dential Leadership and the Price of Politics鈥 Jan. 16. A reporter for The Washington Post since 1971, Woodward has won nearly every American journalism award. The Post received the 1973 Pulitzer Prize for his work with Carl Bernstein on the Watergate scandal and again in 2002 for his reporting of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Woodward has written 16 best-selling books, including the recent 鈥淭he Price of Politics.鈥
Eminent historian Doris Kearns Goodwin speaks at the 2015 草莓视频 College President鈥檚 Breakfast March 6. She has written six critically acclaimed and New York Times best-selling books, including her most recent, 鈥淭he Bully Pulpit: Theodore Roosevelt, William Howard Taft, and the Golden Age of Journalism.鈥 She won the Pulitzer Prize for 鈥淣o Ordinary Time: Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt: The Home Front in World War II鈥 and may be best known for 鈥淭eam of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln,鈥 which formed the basis for Steven Spielberg鈥檚 movie 鈥淟incoln.鈥
Ronald White presents 鈥淭he Moral and Ethical Leadership of Abraham Lincoln鈥 May 29. He has written eight books, including 鈥淎. Lincoln: A Bio-graphy,鈥 a New York Times, Washington Post, and Los Angeles Times bestseller and winner of the 2010 Christopher Award. His other Lincoln books are the best-selling 鈥淟incoln鈥檚 Greatest Speech: The Second Inaugural鈥 and 鈥淭he Eloquent President: A Portrait of Lincoln Through His Words.鈥
